    CHAOS !!! because …
    CHAOS !!! because of GREED

    lousy Greed.

too many Gordon Geckos out there running the banks and real estate co. and mortgages co. that help ruin the economy people’s lives etc.

they will get what is coming to them.

    Many people are …
Many people are very shortsighted and don’t realize that is foreclosures continue the value of their home decreases. The only people that will benefit from this are the speculators. I have a low interest rate and am still able to make my mortgage payment but the foreclosure sales have caused my home’s value to decrease by 34% and I have lost the $150000.00 equity I had. Between this and my decimated IRA I will not be able to retire and may wind up losing my home.

    “I think its absurd …
“I think its absurd these banks were awarded free money for running their banks into the ground” - amen.

    I belive that he …
I belive that he stated in this video that this information WAS NOT in the fine print, which is why he had a heated discussion with the lender…. It was a scam and this man isn’t the only one that was flat out lied to and tricked. Full disclosure up front is THE LAW.

    Capitalism has not …
Capitalism has not always been this shisty. There was a time in America where honesty and a square deal were the norm rather than the exception so I can see how an average person could end up in this situation. What has changed is regulations.

    I’m not disputing …
I’m not disputing the bankers acted badly, or that their bailout was wrong. However, none of that is a justification for a (taxpayer funded) homeowner bailout to take place (as a future event), which is what this film is trying to advocate.
    all yours.
    +fine
    you`ll see.

    While I sympathize …
While I sympathize with this man…. I think we all have to read the fine print. I myself fail to do so. We put too much trust into the lenders… This is really sad. :(

    “teaser rate” that …
“teaser rate” that sounds like this guy was scammed from the 1st moment. That is why the US economy has failed and collapsed. The US economy has died because of preditory lenders and corrupt banking systems. That is why the USA economy collapsed.

  10. davidscalling on March 8th, 2009 11:24 am

    The American Dream …
The American Dream is just that “a dream”, so keep on dreamin’.

If homeowners can PROVE fraud, take it to the courts and settle it there. Otherwise take your lumps (lesson learned) and move on. Or appeal to charity (a voluntary bailout) rather than a forced one.

    ppl, even teens are …
ppl, even teens are ranting about high wages, healthcare and how it all ruins u.s of a.
as a banker you should know with money, but if you drove to the wall, then to take help to give half of it to boni and then to start PR against ppl who have to live in tents in winter is a BIT hypocritic.
as is jumping on that waggon. they try to imply
that ppl got upset , because the homeowners that couldn` t afford have been bailed out that is all. which you and i know, hasn`t been the case, yet.

    what happens to a …
what happens to a contract if you put it in nature. the sun beats down on it. the rain weakens it and the ink runs off. then the wind comes up and carries it all away to dust just like the money for the contract

  16. HeathenRage on March 8th, 2009 11:24 am

    When they come for …
When they come for my house……it will be ashes.

Burn ‘em folks…Burn ‘em down….lets see what happens then….

…When there is no house that can be bought for pennies on the dollar by some other investor who got his bonus.

  17. jokertim777 on March 8th, 2009 11:24 am

    First of all, its …
First of all, its irrelevant who made what bonuses in regards to the Smith’s situation. He signed a contract, and now he wants a bailout?

Second, I was 100% against bailing out ANYONE no matter what they promised to use the money for (and didn’t).

Third, are you trying to imply that because the government made a grave mistake with the first bailout that it should make another one?

There’s a long line of people behind homeowners, should they all get one too?

  18. Realizalize on March 8th, 2009 11:24 am

    4. Why should I (or …
    4. Why should I (or you) have to pay for this guy’s house?

-the money that went to bonuses, where are you on that matter?

  19. tgcyndi on March 8th, 2009 11:24 am

    Clearly you have NO …
Clearly you have NO IDEA what Dan is dealing with.

I suppose you’ve NEVER trusted someone who wasn’t worthy, like Dan did with this scumbag broker, who’s laughing all the way to the bank.

Maybe you should stop listening to Rush Limberger for your information and get a clue as to the reality of what corporate greed has done to this once great nation.

Your money has been “bailing out” stupid CEO’s for most of the last 8 years, in case you didn’t know.

  20. tehrooni25 on March 8th, 2009 11:24 am

    LOLOLOLOL

    You’re …
    LOLOLOLOL

You’re supposed to read the contract BEFORE you sign it, not after.

So now be a man and pay for your mistake. Whatever you do, DO NOT ASK me to bail you out too………..

  21. hypnofan35 on March 8th, 2009 11:24 am

    This is pretty sad. …
This is pretty sad. It is as if the rich people have said to the poor people that it is time to pay the piper. The way we attribute value to money is not what it is worth in concrete terms, but in “more or less terms”, as in who can use more to get more by taking away from those who have less. Maybe it it time for the heavy duty weirdness to ensue. People like to think of themselves as winners. They will destroy or kill to make that happen. There is someone at the top who is the cause.
